The aim of the seminar is to give participants an introduction to the EFQM Model and its uses. It will provide an appreciation of the benefits of using the model as a basis for self assessment to improve performance.
- EFQM Self Assessment
This new two day course provides delegates with an overview of the various tools that can be used to conduct a Self Assessment of a company's management system, to determine how well it performs against the criteria contained in the EFQM Excellence Model. The results of the assessment can then be used to develop action plans to address the Areas for Improvement that have been identified.
- Introduction to EFQM and Self Assessment
This brand new one day course provides delegates with an introduction to the EFQM Business Excellence model. It explains the components of the model and how they are split into Enabler and Results groups. It also introduces and explains a number of self assessment tools that can be used to improve overall business performance.
- BS OHSAS 18001 Health and Safety Internal Auditor
This course provides students with a working knowledge of the BS OHSAS 18001:2007 Specification along with the basic auditing skills needed to plan and conduct Internal Audits within their own organisation. Satisfactory completion of the course fully meet the requirements of the BS OHSAS 18001:2007 specification in terms of the 'training requirements' for Internal Auditors.
- OHSAS 18001 Health and Safety Management Systems Awareness Foundation Training
This course provides students with a working knowledge of the OHSAS Specification.
- BS OHSAS 18001 Foundation Course
Students requiring a basic knowledge and understanding of the BS OHSAS Standard and how it can be used to develop and implement an effective Occupational Health & Safety Management System.
- Calibration Management Systems
All managers or supervisors with responsibility for inspection, measuring or test activities within their departments. Managers or supervisors with responsibility for the establishment of Calibration Management systems meeting the requirements of the ISO 9000 series standards or the new ISO 10,012 (Previously BS 5781). Calibration Engineers or technicians involved in the 'hands-on' calibration of inspection measuring equipment. Document Controllers involved in the maintenance of calibration records.
- ISO 9001:2000 QMS Auditor/Lead Auditor Training (IRCA) Course No. 2245
Practicing and potential auditors of suppliers and subcontractors quality management systems. Participants should have a basic understanding of the ISO 9000:2000 Series standards.
- Internal QMS Auditor (IRCA)
Personnel involved in the management and/or conducting of Internal Management System Audits.
- ISO 9001:2000 Awareness Foundation Training (IRCA)
Students requiring a basic knowledge and understanding of the ISO 9001:2000 standard and its implementation and/or Internal Auditors wishing to meet the ISO 9001:2000 Foundation requirement for registration under the IRCA Internal Auditor Registration Scheme.
- Flowcharting Your Management System
This 1-day course provides the basic skills necessary to convert your existing management system procedures to simple, user-friendly flowcharts. Using the latest VISIO software and QMI Scotland Limited's extensive experience of management systems this course is a must for those wishing to slim down those bulky procedures manuals!
