 Description
The course is presented as a series of lectures and hands-on workshops and will incorporate the following topics:
- Leadership versus Management
- Identifying personal style
- Leadership theory/Styles
- Business Game
- Communication
- Monitoring
Aim
The aim of the course is to explain the differences between leading and managing and to define the skills required for leadership. At the end of the course delegates should:
- Understand whether they are currently leaders or managers
- Be aware of the skills required for leadership
- Have identified role models who inspire
- Have developed a personal action plan for leadership
Audience
The most senior management within the organisation, those wishing to take on-board the responsibility for leading the company into the future. It is anticipated that these will be visionary individuals, with a long-term view
