We at QMI Scotland Limited have extensive experience of Management Systems and have deep held beliefs that it is easier to manage using a systemised approach. It was therefore natural for us to investigate the advantages of other management systems as they were developed. The first of these, after quality assurance, was the environmental standard ISO 14001.

We were conscious of the need to maintain our expertise in Quality Assurance and have therefore brought in further experts to our team to assist our clients with the development and maintenance of Environmental Management systems, whether they are stand alone or integrated with other management systems.

The increasing awareness of climate change, particularly within government agencies and the increasing competition for contracts means that many more people are looking at ways of decreasing their impact on the environment while maximising their chances in the global market place. ISO 14001 can help with both.

QMI Scotland Limited have assisted a number of businesses obtain this standard and for those who are wishing to maintain their system without in-house expertise, we can assist with internal audits and supplier audits.
