| Jim Westcott has extensive experience in quality and environmental management systems and auditing. He is an experienced IRCA Registered Lead QMS and EMS Auditor and a Member of the Chartered Quality Institute. He holds qualifications in Environmental Studies (BSc), an Open University Diploma in Pollution Control and an HND in Civil Engineering. He has closely worked alongside Transport Scotland for the Performance Audit Group since 2001 on the Scottish Trunk Road Maintenance contracts ensuring the maintenance operating companies deliver robust quality, environment and H&S management systems. During the last 8 years, he has undertaken over 160 audits as lead auditor on quality and environmental management systems and assisted with approximately 40 technical and financial audits in both the UK and overseas. He brings with this a wealth of experience of more than 35 years in the civil engineering industry having worked on major projects in the UK and overseas on roads, airports and heavy reinforced concrete structures.
