Oliver SignoriniCapt. Oliver Signorini was employed 15 years in a senior position working for a major oil company on process safety management. Prior to this and for 8 years he managed the second largest oil support base in Scotland, which was also the largest fishing port in Europe at that time. His base background was in the shipping industry where he was a VLCC Ship Master, in command with P&O Bulk Shipping Division and previously with Caltex Oil Company. His marine service covered a period of 18 years.
Oliver is a Master Mariner (F.G.); Fellow of the Nautical Institute; Fellow of the Institute of Occupational Health; IRCA Registered Lead Auditor; Registered IOSH Safety Professional; an ISM Marine auditor; an ex Chairman of the Nautical Institute (North of Scotland Branch); a member of the Honourable Member of Master Mariners and a Freeman of the City of London.
